Akabo Media produces a number of magazines, conferences, exhibitions and awards in the transport, logistics and supply chain industries. Many of the brands, events etc. have been running for a number of years, some have only recently been launched.

We have an ambitious expansion plan in place both nationally and internationally and content and events are at the heart of our business philosophy.

We are looking for a Marketing Manager/Director to work across our existing portfolio of products, but importantly to help us research new areas for expansion.

This is not a job for the faint heated. It is a challenging position, but within a company that allows individuals to develop their true potential

Experience

  • Degree qualified, ideally with a marketing qualification or similar
  • Proven track record in publishing and events marketing
  • Experience of researching new products and services
  • Familiarity with using databases
  • Excellent online marketing credentials
  • Able to spot opportunities and turn them into businesses

Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly numerate
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Understanding of web analytics, social media ROI

The offices are based in London, SE1.
